Briana Sherrer
Founder/Board President

Briana grew up in Minnesota, and discovered her passion for rescue animals after fostering pets for a local rescue. After Briana and her husband, Matt, moved to Texas, she continued her love for rescuing shelter pets by getting involved with Dallas area shelters.
Other than combating euthanasia numbers for shelter pets, Briana works as a Dental Hygienist. Her son Harrison, dogs Griffey, King, and Dylan, and cat Jiggs also keep her busy. Briana’s dream was to save as many animals as possible and connect them to their forever homes, no matter the distance, became a reality with Passport for Paws.

Michelle Hur
Vice-President/Board of Directors/Puppy Mom/Saving Sully Coordinator/Transport Paperwork Coordinator

I am a native Texan, wife of Jon, mother of Mitchell, Miranda, Mirielle and future mother-in-law to Landyn, Roscoe’s mommy, and puppy foster mommy. I am celebrating my two year anniversary with P4P this month and have been blessed to house over 100 dogs, mostly puppies, in that time. I’m an Aggie because I always wanted to be a vet, but I’ve been a salesperson, chemist, developer, and teacher instead! I have volunteered in some way since I was in high school but working with P4P and fostering is by far the most rewarding of all the groups with which I have worked. My whole family is dog crazy and we all foster or volunteer with P4P in some way, including my mom!

Tiffany Mitchell
Animal Records/ Secondhand Hounds and Twin Cities Intake Coordinator/ Website/ Puppy Foster

I was born in Texas in the city of North Richland Hills. I attended college at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. I have been married since 2015 to my husband, Casey, and we live in North Richland Hills with our two dogs, Peanut - a Dachshund - and Odie - an Australian Shepherd. I started volunteering at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control over the last few years before I started fostering for Passport for Paws. My husband, Casey, is usually at every transport with me and is an honorary Passport for Paws member. I have been with Passport for Paws since June of 2020! I have fostered over 30 dogs since I started with P4P last June, usually gravitating toward older puppies close to a year old. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing team.

Lori Busa
Fundraising

I’ve been blessed to be a part of the P4P family since fall of 2016. A native Californian, then east coast, midwest and now Texas, since 2011. My son was 10 (18 years ago) when he begged us for our first family pet. He said "I want a dog, more than life itself". It was a pretty compelling statement. I told my husband to get ready, a puppy was coming. We all discovered the beauty of man's best friend and the true meaning of unconditional love. Our family dog endured cancer, amputation, chemo and lived another 10 years, despite what the vet predicted. After he passed (July 2018) I couldn't stand the empty silence that rang so loudly in our home. I called Briana, "I need another foster and quick". 49 hours later Miss Lizzy (in picture) came into our lives. She was the key to me finding my smile, proving that I could open my heart once again. Playing a part in saving an animal's life comforts my heart, reigns humility and gratitude in my soul. Everyone deserves to have these daily blessings! Next to being a mom, volunteerism is the best job I've ever known.

I have three dogs and a cat of my own - Miles, Coco, Daisy, and Tiger. At any given time, I also have at least one foster, but usually several, including litters of puppies! I am an Accountant for P4P and I am the Coordinator for local trans- port needs. I also always am available to help load the van at our transports , help get our van ready for transport and make sure our crates are labeled and ready for our transport animals!

Katie Jenson- Roberts
Treasurer/ Accounting/ Zoho

I grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin with my mother and two sisters. I got my love for animals from my Mom! We always had our own dogs growing up, all rescued or re- homed, but strays were also always welcome anytime!!! Even after I went to college, if I heard that a dog was no longer wanted, I could always take them home to my Mom. Today I am the proud mother of my daugher Megan and two rescue dogs, Wally and Molly. I am the Treasurer for P4P, help with local transports when I can and work on our Cuddly campaigns to help our more severe medical cases. I also help with other fundraising needs and events.
